Cleveland Plain Dealer: SnapStream Turns Computer into VCR
SnapStream was reviewed in today's Cleveland newspaper (Cleveland Plain Dealer) by their technology columnist Chris Seper.
SnapStream turns computer into VCR: http://www.cleveland.com/tech/plaind...2331923455.xml Anyone unhappy with WebTV and sick of complex VCR commands may want to try another approach. Why not put the television on your computer? A series of TV tuner cards help attach cable and antenna cords to home computers. SnapStream offers the VCR component for anyone using Windows XP. But SnapStream is easier to program than a VCR, is easier to use than most on-screen television menus and is a great example of how you can meld your television into your computer. SnapStream's on-screen display is as simple as a children's board game. Follow the candy-colored, balloonish illustrations to click "Record" and choose to either record right away or set up a series of times. |
