Not sure what's causing the problem but you could probably use a MPEG2Repair or VideoRedo to fix the files. MPEG2Repair it will work to fix .TP files. VideoRedo can be used to repair .MPG files. MPEG2REPAIR is freeware, Videoredo you have to pay for.
