I have a notebook 9600M GS. I'm pretty sure those 182 versions are for desktops video cards only. If I go to nvidia's site, driver downloads -> archived drivers, there are a whole lot more drivers available between 179 and 186 when I change the video card type from 9600M GS to 9600 GS for Vista x64.
