Vista Media Center and Power DVD 9 with Firefly Remote
I just set up my HTPC. I was having problems getting my Firefly Remote to properly control Blu-Ray/DVD from with in Vista Media Center. I installed PowerDVD 9 Version 9.0.1501.0 and now Vista Media Center has an entry for launching PowerDVD/Blu-Ray. I worked all night to finally get the Firefly Remote to work, so here is an xml.
It now works awesome, and with this xml and the same style setup I have, you don't have to suffer through trying to get it to work. When I want to play a Blu-Ray or DVD movie, I launch PowerDVD 9 from within Vista Media Center (which starts up with Windows Vista upon bootup). The Exit button on the Firefly remote works as the eject button. To exit out of PowerDVD9, you press the Firefly button. Button A is for a popup window that lists other options like going to the menu, etc, and Button B is for the subtitle menu. All the Firefly button assignments work for Blu-Ray and DVD.
ENJOY!
