Since I work seasonally I don’t have much time for TV in the fall and winter. I record everything I want to see and watch it in the spring and summer. There may be two or three shows that I’ll watch weekly through the winter.
But sure, I usually end up with far more hours of recorded programs than I’ll have time to watch through the summer. And with our son getting older and busier and our summer social calendar filling up fast my available time for TV viewing is diminishing quickly. I just prioritize my viewing list. What I haven’t watched by the fall gets deleted to make room for the new season. I used to archive stuff on DVD figuring I would get around to watching it later. But now I have a big pile of unwatched DVDs so I just delete stuff.
