Yeah, I had that one, too - same problem - sound drivers not installed. Search the forums and you'll see this error comes up pretty frequently (although it apparantly isn't always sound stuff).

Seems that much headache could be avoided with a little more intelligent error catching. Why not "Hey stupid - your sound drivers are messed up!"

Hey SS - a smarter BTV installation process would sell more copies...
