A choice would be a great option!

BTW, the recycle bin does not need to be "managed". When it gets full the operating system just deletes older files in the recycle bin to make room. Most people won't even know it's happening.

I do see a down side of using hte recycle bin. My system is a dedicated PC and the only files that get deleted are video files, however, if BTV was running on my main PC (could be the majority case) and deleted video files were causing my old word documents and excel sheets to get flushed form the recyble bin then that might get annoying. An advanced setting would probably be the best way to enable deleted shows to go to the recycle bin.
