New TV

I need some help picking out a new TV for my living room. I would like to spend less than $3,000 US including tax, shipping and accessories. I would like something over 50 inches and I do not nessicarily require something that is wall mountable (but it would be neat). I really want something that is full 1080p so that I can go 1920x1080 out from my DVI-D on my video card. I also need a combination of 2 HDMI ports or 1 HDMI and 1 DVI-D. If I could have a combination giving me uo to 3 digital inputs that would be even better, but probably hard to find. I have looked at the projection LCD TVs and the flat panel LCDs and both look good. I like the projection models because they seem to have really great brightness. My livingroom gets a lot of sun in the afternoon so the bright screen is important. I have a great reciever and speaker set up so the speakers on the TV are not important. One of the TVs I saw in person and really liked was this one:

I would hope to get reccomendations from anyone who has some experience picking screens, or maybe someone who works with TVs who has some information. Any ideas?
