Re: webadmin not function
System Mechanic can really create havoc if you are not very careful. Version 6 is even worse. Version 6 really has a lot of bells and whistles, but has some serious flaws.
Various automatic and scheduled fixes, deletions and optimizing can remove or change files that should not really be touched. The problem is that in some of the program's options (for example in security threat analysis) it's a go-no-go thing. You don't have any way to examine the individual problems and choose to select or not select them for fixing. It's all or none. AND don't count on the option to save information to "undo" any fix. It only works about 10 percent of the time.
The registry clean or optimize will remove or attempt to fix things that it shouldn't. The first time I used the newest Version 6 Pro it created so many problems I had to restore my system with an image backup.
It is a nice tool for cleaning up duplicate files and all the other utilities but I really have to warn you to not do anything fully automatic and if in doubt DON'T do it. ESPECIALLY if you are using the new vs 6.
