Like so many others I will have to pay for the upgrade but I don't have a problem with that. IMHO, this product is worth it. You have to give it the attention it deserves. It seems to me that any HTPC/PVR project using BTV requires patience and TLC to get it to work, but once it's working properly, boy is it great!
I have to also say that the assistance provided by the members of this forum is the main reason I've gotten my system working. The energy and frustration during the setup phase has been repaid ten times over now that our family can control what we watch and more importantly when we want to watch it. 
BTW, I seem to notice a lot more NEW users on this site lately, was there some kind of big sale or marketing promo I don't know about?
