ATI DVD Decoder

I just got the ATI decoder setup to work in BTV and it reduced my CPU usage dramatically... I was wondering if anyone has been able to use the ATI decoder for DVD playback in BM??

I had an nVidia Ti4200 but that does NOT have onbaord MPEG decoding. I tried both a FX 5700 and a 6200 but they just flat out refused to work properly so I bit the bullet, gritted my teeth, and prayed that an ATI would save me from having to rebuild my entire architecture... the ATI 9550 did the trick... it works in the PC, and the decoder is rather efficient for BTV.

Replacing the Ti4200 with the ATI 9550 allowd me to double my bitrate for capture, and even with the increased bitrate reduced the CPU load from an average of 75% to 18%.

I looked in the registry and tried to duplicate the nVidia decoder settings for BeyondMediaSettings.xml but my intial attempt failed.

Any suggestions?
