Actually that is why they are looking for new hobby developers...
Standard Message for anyone reading:
We are looking for some hobby developers to take on this code (as well as any of a few other plugins). The developer of course would get full ownership of the code and could do with it whatever they want (hopefully atleast fixing the noted bugs).
Anyway if that is of interest to anyone just send me a PM and I'll give you more details.
